Life and Family Suggestions for Homilies and Prayers of the Faithful during September 2020<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops continues to post homily ideas and prayers of the faithful to help link the Sunday liturgy with the national pastoral initiative for life and family. Season of Creation 2020 \u2013 Jubilee for the Earth<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Endorsed by Pope Francis in 2015 and supported by the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, the annual month-long ecumenical celebration entitled the\u00a0Season of Creation\u00a0<\/em>runs from Sept. 1st<\/sup>, World Day of Prayer for Creation to Oct. 4th<\/sup>, the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi. The celebration calls on the global Christian community to promote prayer and action to protect our common home, and is one of the initiatives to celebrate the\u00a0Special\u00a0Laudato Si\u2019<\/em>\u00a0Anniversary Year<\/a>\u00a0which runs from May 24, 2020 \u2013 May 24, 2021.
