This Month Scripture Session: The Four Lenses of Reading Scripture That Every Catholic Should Know The early Church didn’t read the Bible on one level. It read on four: what happened, what it points to in Christ, how it calls you to live, and where it leads in eternity. Learn the four lenses, then bring your questions. Talk 1: Technology: Your Phone: Tool or Master? It’s in your pocket right now. Is it serving you, or are you serving it? Talk 2: Discernment: The Power of Silence You can’t hear a call if you can’t be quiet. We begin the year where every vocation begins: with silence, the place where God actually speaks. Book Club We launch our book club with C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters, a senior devil’s advice to his nephew on how to keep a human soul distracted. Pick up a copy. In November we’ll discuss Letters 1–4. Also This Morning Adoration and confession, Mass, and lunch together.
