Office of Marriage, Family, Youth & Young Adults

The primary role of this office is to provide resources, training and support for the parishes of the Pembroke Diocese, which themselves are striving to provide opportunities for couples, families, youth and young adults to grow in their faith, and journey together towards a beautiful life lived in Christ and in His Church.
The journey of faith that leads us to the Kingdom that our Lord has promised us should not be experienced alone. One’s life of faith is nurtured and brought to fruition at the parish level through the parish community. Families and individuals work together to make this faith journey a fruitful reality. Parishes are greatly enriched by willing volunteers who help to make this journey a reality, as we all have varying God-given gifts. This office also provides opportunities for those larger diocesan initiatives that are meant to foster the efforts of the parishes.
Along with a committee consisting of clergy and lay people, this office oversees Ecclesia, the diocesan newsletter.

Marriage & Family
Marriage and Family are at the heart of Church. The family unit is the very building block of society. “As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.” St. John Paul ll.
Youth
We provide training, resources, and support for parishes and families who are striving to provide opportunities for their youth to grow in their faith and love of the Catholic Church. The youth are the future of the Church.
Young Adults
Come join us at our monthly gatherings at the Diocesan Office, to grow in your faith with like-minded Catholics. We cover many topics of interest to those 18 – 35 years of age.
