Chancery Office Reopening
Bishop Desrochers announced that the chancery office will reopen on Monday, July 20th. Office hours will be the regular summer hours: Mondays to Thursdays from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Ordination of Rev. Mr. Michael Coyne
With joy, the Diocese of Pembroke announces that Most Rev. Guy Desrochers, C.Ss.R., will ordain Rev. Mr. Michael Coyne to the priesthood at St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew, on Tuesday, September 8th, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, at 2:00 p.m. The First Mass of Thanksgiving will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew, on Wednesday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. Let us keep Michael Coyne in prayer as he prepares for ordination.

Masks mandatory in Renfrew County beginning the week of July 13
Non-surgical masks become mandatory in certain enclosed spaces (including churches) in Renfrew County the week of July 13. Exceptions include very young children and people with respiratory problems. Medical authorities are asking everyone to be kind to people who are not wearing a mask. They may have a valid reason for not wearing one. Annual Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Saint Ann, Cormac Cancelled
Please note that the Annual Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Saint Ann in Cormac on Sunday, July 26th, and the Triduum in the week preceding will not be held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Upcoming Pilgrimage to Our Lady of the Cape and to the Shrine of Saint Anne
The 146th annual pilgrimage to Our Lady of the Cape and to the Shrine of St. Anne de Beaupré will not happen on August 8-9, 2020. The pilgrimage has now been rescheduled for September 12-13 or October 17-18, 2020. Pilgrims who have already prepaid for their pilgrimage will be refunded if they cannot be present to either one of these projected dates. The projected dates will depend on the federal, provincial, territorial and public Health governments’ decisions. Our Lady of the Cape, pray for us. Good Saint Anne, pray for us.
